Cider Press
I have been allowed by my neighbor (Steve Harrison) to help myself to apples from his tree. This lead me to the idea of a cider press. I was raised for part of my childhood in Somerset and frequently cycled to the local cider farm for a gallon of scrumpy. So here it starts!
A nice big slab of Oak and a couple of chunks of Chestnut should do it. 
This slab of Oak is over 10 years seasoned and the Chestnut is about 4 years.
So off to the sawmill they go........

This little slab will be doing the pressing.
Popped in to pick up some apples tonight...
And that made me realise i needed to get a wiggle on.
